Faith, Resilience, and Rebuilding the Influence Behind the Title

For the past two years, I’ve been away from work — fighting cancer, recovering from multiple surgeries, and rebuilding piece by piece.

When you go through something like that, your world gets very small and very clear.
You stop thinking about metrics, titles, and deadlines — and start focusing on what actually matters: people, purpose, and how you spend your limited energy each day.

For most of my career, I’ve lived in motion — leading teams, building brands, solving problems. Then suddenly, I couldn’t do any of it. I had to hand things off, trust others, and learn to slow down — which, for someone wired like me, was one of the hardest lessons of all.

But here’s what I’ve learned: stepping back doesn’t dull your edge — it sharpens your focus.
It forces you to see the difference between being busy and making impact.
Between having influence and earning it.

Over that time, I wrote a lot — thoughts on business, marketing, branding, leadership, and some personal writing too.
So here we are: a man on a mission, with a ton of yet-to-be-used content and a clear sense of why it matters now.

Now, coming back after two years, I feel different.
More deliberate. More grounded. More grateful.

I’m not returning to pick up where I left off — I’m returning with a clearer sense of purpose.
To do meaningful work with people and companies that know who they are, what they stand for, and where they want to go.
